Serial number 266194 dates this Winchester Model 1892 to 1904. It is chambered in .25-20 and wears a 24-inch barrel. The supplier describes it as a sharp gun with a light brown patina over the metal, wood in very good condition and an action that works as it should. The bore is dark but keeps strong rifling.

What you get is an early twentieth-century Winchester with its original surface rather than a refinish, a 24-inch barrel and a lever action that still cycles cleanly. For a Utah buyer it sits best in the collector's rack or at the range with .25-20 loads; hunters chasing the October deer and elk hunts generally look to larger cartridges, and the Big Game Field Regulations Guidebook is the place to confirm what ammunition is legal in any unit before a rifle like this goes afield.
