Diamondback's DB15 Carbon is a semi-automatic rifle chambered for .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO, with a 16-inch 4150 chrome-moly barrel in a 1:8 twist, a mid-length direct-impingement gas system and an A2 flash hider on the threaded muzzle. The forged 7075-T6 receiver has an A3 flattop for optics, the handguard is a 15-inch M-LOK, and Magpul supplies the MOE grip and adjustable MOE PR carbine stock. In brown, it weighs 6.7 pounds, measures 32.75 inches, and ships with one 30-round magazine.

The light build and adjustable stock suit range sessions, training classes and general-purpose use, and the M-LOK slots take whatever accessories the job needs. Utah does not restrict the 30-round magazine it ships with, and the flattop receiver means a Utah owner picks their own optic rather than living with a fixed sight.
