About Utah Gun Shop
Utah Gun Shop is a federally licensed firearms retailer based in Salt Lake City, Utah, serving shooters, hunters, and concealed-carry holders across all 50 states. We opened our doors in 2009 with a simple idea: carry the firearms, triggers, and ammunition Utah customers actually ask for, price them fairly, and ship them without the runaround.
Our catalog covers more than 500 in-stock products — handguns from Glock, Sig Sauer, Smith & Wesson, and Heckler & Koch; bolt-action and semi-auto rifles; shotguns from Beretta and Benelli; FRT triggers, binary triggers, and Glock switches; plus a full range of ammunition, optics, holsters, and accessories. Every firearm ships through a licensed FFL dealer — either ours or one near you — and paperwork is handled the way ATF expects it to be handled.
Our Team
Derek Holloway — Founder & Head FFL
Derek has held an 01 FFL since 2009. A Utah native and 18-year concealed carry permit holder, he built Utah Gun Shop to serve the Intermountain West first and the rest of the country second. When he isn’t behind the counter he’s on the bench testing triggers.
Amanda Reyes — Operations & Compliance
Amanda runs shipping, ATF paperwork, and state-by-state compliance. She knows which states require 10-round magazine limits, which ones block suppressor shipments, and which require specific serialized component disclosures. If your order needs special handling, Amanda is the one making the calls.
Travis Kimball — Product & Customer Support
Travis is a competitive USPSA shooter and the person you’ll get on the phone when you’re deciding between two optics or want to know if a particular trigger fits your lower. Straight answers, no upsell.
How We Ship
Firearms ship within 1-2 business days to your chosen FFL dealer. Ammunition, accessories, and non-firearm items ship direct to your door via UPS or USPS, usually within 24 hours of payment clearing. Signature is required on all firearm and ammunition deliveries. Orders over $200 ship free within the continental US.
