How it differs from the classic Hi-Power
- Capacity: 15 rounds in the SA-35. We did not confirm the original Hi-Power magazine size from a page we opened.
- No magazine disconnect. Empty magazines drop free, and the reviewers say the trigger is cleaner.
- New hammer shape. A rowel-type hammer replaces the spur hammer, which can bite the hand.
- Extended thumb safety that is easier to reach.
- Reworked feed ramp for modern defensive hollow points.
- Factory-tuned trigger.
What we could not verify
Springfield's SA-35 page does not list weight, barrel length or finish. The full list of colors and sight options (for example Cerakote versions) was not confirmed from a page we opened, so we do not list them here.
