This Beretta Mato, serial RAA003497, is a modern-production bolt-action in .300 Winchester with a 24-inch barrel, a synthetic stock and a 13.5-inch length of pull. The seller rates the bore excellent and the overall condition excellent.

A .300 Winchester bolt gun is an elk rifle, and Utah's 2026 general bull elk any-weapon hunts run October 3 to 9 and October 10 to 16, with the spike-only hunt October 3 to 15 and the general any-weapon buck deer hunt October 17 to 25. The 24-inch barrel gives the cartridge room to reach its velocity, the synthetic stock is indifferent to snow and rain, and the short 13.5-inch pull suits a shooter of modest build or one wearing a heavy coat in late October. Permits come through the spring big-game draw with bonus points, and the Big Game Field Regulations Guidebook lists the unit boundaries and legal ammunition, so read it before you commit to a unit.
