About the Savage 110 Timberline .270 Win 22" Rifle, Realtree Excape/OD Green

The Savage 110 Timberline .270 Win 22 inch Realtree Excape OD Green is a field-ready bolt-action rifle that bridges the gap between vintage hunting tradition and modern precision engineering. Chambered in the venerable .270 Winchester, this rifle ships with a fluted, threaded 22-inch barrel finished in OD Green Cerakote, paired with a Realtree Excape synthetic stock that houses the AccuStock internal chassis and AccuFit adjustability. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger delivers a crisp, consistent pull, and the receiver arrives drilled and tapped for optics. This right-hand model offers a 4+1 capacity, making it a practical companion for serious hunters who demand accuracy in variable conditions.

Key Features

• AccuStock Internal Chassis: Why it matters: The aluminum frame locks the action and barrel into a rigid platform, eliminating stock flex and bedding inconsistencies that plague traditional synthetic stocks, ensuring repeatable accuracy shot after shot.
• AccuTrigger: Why it matters: This adjustable trigger lets you dial in pull weight from 1.5 to 6 pounds without tools, giving you a clean break that reduces flinch and improves precision in cold hands or high-pressure moments.
• Fluted, Threaded Barrel with OD Green Cerakote: Why it matters: Fluting reduces weight and aids heat dissipation, while the 5/8x24 threaded muzzle accepts brakes or suppressors; the Cerakote finish resists corrosion and glare in the field.
• AccuFit Adjustability: Why it matters: Interchangeable comb inserts and length-of-pull spacers let you tailor the stock to your build, improving cheek weld and trigger reach for consistent natural point of aim.
• Drilled and Tapped Receiver: Why it matters: Pre-threaded holes accept most scope bases without gunsmithing, saving you time and money when mounting optics for long-range glass.

Pros and Cons

• Pro: AccuStock chassis provides a rock-solid foundation for accuracy, even with heavy recoil.
• Pro: AccuTrigger is user-adjustable without tools, giving you a custom pull weight in seconds.
• Pro: Threaded barrel ready for suppressors or muzzle brakes out of the box.
• Con: The Realtree Excape camo pattern may not blend into all environments—if you hunt open plains or snow, consider a solid color alternative.
