Benelli builds the Ethos 20 Gauge around its Inertia Drive system, a semi-automatic that keeps fouling away from the working parts and cycles light target loads as readily as heavier hunting shells. The 26-inch barrel takes 3-inch shotshells, the magazine holds four with one more in the chamber, and the whole gun weighs 6.2 pounds at 46.5 inches overall. A satin nickel receiver sits in AA-grade walnut, with a bead sight, a 14 3/8-inch length of pull and a manual safety.

A sub-gauge gun this light is a natural for upland birds and for sporting clays, and the Progressive Comfort recoil system plus the semi-soft ComforTech cheekpiece take the sting out of a long day of either. Cast, drop and length of pull all adjust, so a Utah shooter can set the stock to their own build before the season instead of adapting to a factory fit.
