The Winchester Wildcat Jug is 1,500 rounds of .22 LR in one container. Each round is a 40-grain Dynapoint hollow point on a brass case, listed at 1,255 feet per second from the muzzle; it is a standard-pressure load for any firearm chambered in .22 Long Rifle.

Fifteen hundred rounds is the kind of quantity a Utah family buys before a summer of plinking, a youth shooting program or a season of small-game hunting with a .22 rifle. The Dynapoint hollow point gives the bullet a little expansion on rabbits and squirrels, and at this count there is no reason to ration range time. Store the jug somewhere dry and scoop out what you need for the day. If you run a semi-automatic rifle, put a hundred rounds through it first to confirm it cycles cleanly before relying on the whole jug for a long session.
