Winchester USA .22 LR is a 50-round box of standard rimfire: a 40-grain lead round nose on a brass case, rated at 1,255 feet per second at the muzzle. It is not a high-pressure load, and it fits any rifle or handgun chambered for .22 Long Rifle.

For a Utah shooter this is the box to buy when the goal is simply trigger time. A new shooter can learn sight alignment and trigger control with almost no recoil or noise, a plinker can spend an afternoon on steel and paper, and the same round nose bullet does the job on small game at modest distances. The 50-round box slips into a jacket pocket, which makes it handy for a quick session at the range or a walk with a .22 rifle. Buy a few boxes at a time and keep the same lot together so your zero stays consistent from one session to the next.
